What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition BNP-26?
A natriuretic peptide that is stored mainly in cardiac ventricular myocardium and may be responsive to changes in ventricular filling pressures. It has been shown to cause natriuresis and vasodilation. (Heart Disease: a Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine, 5th ed, p414)
