What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition CAS Protein?
A nucleocytoplasmic transport protein that binds to ALPHA IMPORTINS and RAN GTP BINDING PROTEIN inside the CELL NUCLEUS and participates in their export into CYTOPLASM. It also associated with the regulation of APOPTOSIS, microtubule assembly and in nucleocytoplasmic transport.
