What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Methemoglobin Reductase, NADH?

An erythrocyte enzyme which catalyzes the reduction of methemoglobin (ferrihemoglobin) to hemoglobin (ferrohemoglobin). Deficiency produces the inherited disease familial methemoglobinemia. In the absence of methemoglobin, the enzyme can also reduce methylene blue.
