What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Neurotoxin A, Botulinum?
A neurotoxin produced by Clostridium botulinum. When consumed in contaminated food it can cause paralysis and death. In its purified form, it has been used in the treatment of blepharospasm and strabismus.
