What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Pneumocystis carini?
A species of ascomycetous fungi, family Pneumocystidaceae, order Pneumocystidales, causing interstitial plasma cell pneumonia and other infections in man, as well as infections in other animals. It occasionally causes extrapulmonary disease in immunocompromised patients. (From Dorland 28th ed)
