What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Rifomycins?
A group of antibiotics characterized by a chromophoric naphthohydroquinone group spanned by an aliphatic bridge not previously found in other known antibiotics. They have been isolated from fermentation broths of Streptomyces mediterranei.
