What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Syndactyly?

The most common congenital anomaly of the hand or foot, marked by persistence of the webbing between adjacent fingers or toes, so they are more or less completely attached. It is called complicated syndactyly if the bones or nails of the involved digits are fused. (Dorland, 27th ed)
