What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Torsion, Spermatic Cord?
Torsion of the spermatic cord caused usually by incomplete attachment of the epididymis to the testis or by inclusion of the cord within the tunica vaginalis. Faulty development of various anatomical components of the testes is also a cause. It occurs most frequently in childhood and adolescence. (From Current Medical Information & Terminology, 5th ed)
