What's The Definition Of The Medical Condition Uroporphyrinogen Carboxy-Lyase?
One of the enzymes active in heme biosynthesis. It catalyzes the decarboxylation of uroporphyrinogen III to coproporphyrinogen III by the conversion of four acetic acid groups to four methyl groups. EC 4.1.1.37.
